In week 2 of our Advent series, we explore the profound peace that came to earth with the birth of Christ. Using scenes from "The Chosen: Holy Night" episode, we discover why God chose shepherds—the least, the hopeless, those living in turmoil—to be the first to hear the greatest announcement in history.
The shepherds were at the bottom of society: dismissed, disconnected, and declared "unclean." Yet in their darkest moment, God showed up with a message that would change everything: "Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests."
This message is for all of us who wrestle with feelings of worthlessness, who face hopeless situations, who wonder if God could ever accept us. The same God who declared peace to rejected shepherds offers that same peace to you today.
