45th Year Celebration

The Jesus People movement of the 1960s was a significant spiritual awakening in the United States. In the late 1970s, the Vineyard movement began at what has been called the crossroads of American Christianity. With its roots in this movement, our church played a crucial role in bringing the spiritual awakening to the Ohio Valley in 1979. This September, we will celebrate 45 years of our church's significant contribution to helping people in our community and worldwide find and follow God.

We have a great weekend planned to celebrate all that God has done in those 45 years and all that is to come! Beginning Saturday, September 21, we will be viewing Jesus Revolution at the 647 Warden Run Road facility. This movie, based on the true story of the Jesus People Movement in the 1970s, is our origin story and a great movie.

Sunday service will be at the Oglebay Amphitheater, followed by a family reunion and picnic at the Levenson Shelter Site. Our founders, Todd and Debbie Hunter, will be joining us, and Todd will deliver the message that day.

Watch Party

The celebration begins Saturday, September 21, with a watch party for Jesus Revolution. This movie, based on the true story of the Jesus People Movement in the 1970s, is our origin story.

The watch party will be at 647 Warden Run Road, Wheeling, WV, at 6:00 pm. If the viewing reaches capacity, we will provide additional movie times for you to choose from.

Family Reunion

Following the Sunday service, we'll head over to Levenson Shealter for fellowship and to share a meal. We'll take care of the meal and games, you bring your stories and favorite memories of our church community.
